How to Use Bespoke Mixology
Everything you need to get the most out of your personal AI mixologist.
Bespoke Crafting
What is it?
Your AI mixologist crafts unique cocktails — or alcohol-free mocktails — tailored to your mood, taste, and occasion.
How to use it
From the Dashboard, tap “Bespoke Crafting” and answer a short survey: base spirit (up to 2 for split-base drinks), flavor profile, mood, sweetness, and occasion. Pick “Alcohol Free” for sophisticated mocktails.
From the Speakeasy
Switch to “From the Speakeasy” to get suggestions based on what you already have on hand, then tap any result to view the full recipe.
Companion Ingredient Recipes
When a drink calls for a homemade element (syrups, shrubs, infusions), the AI auto-generates a companion Ingredient Recipe Card alongside it.
Your Creations
Every creation auto-saves to the Creations archive at the bottom of the Bespoke Crafting page — your cocktail journal. Browse, rate, edit, share, print, or heart one into your Library.
Import Your Recipe Collection
What is it?
Already have a collection saved elsewhere? Percival reads a Word doc, PDF, or text file, pulls out every recipe, and adds them to your Library in bulk.
How to use it
On the Dashboard, tap “Add to Library” → “Cocktail Recipe” → “Upload a File,” or use the “Import” button in your Library. Attach a PDF, Word, or text/CSV file (up to 10 MB).
Review, then add — one or all
Each recipe becomes a clean card and finished cocktails are sorted from ingredient recipes automatically. Add the ones you want individually, or tap “Add All.” Clear, text-based documents with one recipe per section import best.
Bar Menu Advice
What is it?
Snap a photo of any bar or restaurant cocktail menu and get personalized picks based on your taste — from your AI mixologist, Percival.
How to use it
From the Dashboard, tap “Bar Menu Advice” and upload one or more menu photos. Choose a saved Palate Profile or build one on the spot to steer the recommendations.
Your Recommendations
Percival returns his top picks with a short reason for each. Tap any pick to expand a detailed explanation of why it suits your taste.
The AI Mixologist
What is it?
Your cocktail concierge — built into the Dashboard and available as a floating chat bubble across the app. Ask for recommendations, substitutions, trivia, or tell it to stock your bar.
Recipe Cards & Attachments
Recipes appear as fully rendered cards with “Add to Library” buttons. Snap a menu or bottle, or attach PDFs, DOCs, or CSVs (up to 10 MB) for the AI to analyze.
Voice, Copy & Share
Tap the mic for hands-free input. Hover any message to copy, email, or share, and use the pencil icon to edit and resend your own messages.
Library
What is it?
Your curated recipe book with two sections: Cocktails and Ingredient Recipes (syrups, shrubs, bitters, infusions, and more).
How recipes get here
Heart a Creation, type one manually, snap a photo, ask the AI Mixologist, or let companion ingredient recipes auto-generate alongside cocktails.
Actions on Every Card
Variation (AI twist), Share, Curate, Shop (add to a Shopping List), Print, Edit, Delete, and Photo (add your own image). Edit any recipe and use “Revert to Original” to undo.
Search & Filters
Multi-select filters let you pick several spirits, liqueurs, or difficulties at once — choose “None” under Spirit for mocktails only. Use AI search to describe what you want in plain language, and sort A–Z, Z–A, Newest, or Oldest.
Card, Small Card & List Views
Choose how things look
Wherever you see the layout switch, pick full Cards, Small Cards, or a compact List — in your Library, Ingredient Recipes, Creations, Speakeasy, Curations, and Shopping Lists.
Your choice is remembered
Each section keeps its own layout. Set it once and the app restores your preferred view every time you return — even after navigating away or refreshing.
Speakeasy
What is it?
Your virtual home bar — tracks the ingredients, spirits, and tools you have so the AI can suggest cocktails you can actually make.
Adding Ingredients
Browse the catalog, “Add via Photo” to snap bottles, or “Add via Voice” to speak them. “Add Custom Ingredient” covers anything else and auto-categorizes it.
Linked Recipes & Shopping
If an ingredient matches an Ingredient Recipe in your Library, its name links to the full recipe. Tap the cart icon on any ingredient to add it to a Shopping List.
Edit & Manage
Hover any ingredient to rename, re-categorize, or remove it — changes save instantly.
Shopping Lists
What is it?
Manage what you need to buy. Create multiple lists, add ingredients from cocktails, ingredient recipes, or Speakeasy items, and check them off as you shop.
How to add & manage
Tap Shop on any card in your Library, Creations, or Speakeasy, pick the ingredients and a list. Add items by photo or voice, merge lists, or delete lists you no longer need.
Curations
What is it?
Themed collections of cocktails from your Library — like playlists for your bar. Group by occasion, season, spirit, or anything you like.
How to use it
Create a Curation, then add cocktails with the Curate button on any Library card. Edits and ratings sync between your Library and every curation.
Craft Menu
Turn any curation into an elegant, presentable cocktail menu. Tap “Craft Menu” on a curation, pick a design (Art Deco Grand or Bill of Fare), add a title, choose portrait or landscape, and present it full screen.
Feed
What is it?
A community feed — share posts about cocktails, bars, restaurants, and food, and see what everyone else is pouring. Open Feed from the top menu, or tap Post on any Library card.
One post, two places
Whatever you post from the Feed or your profile now appears in both automatically — edit or delete it in one place and it updates in the other.
Public or Friends only
Each post form has a toggle in the top-right: keep a post Friends-only or make it Public. Even on a private profile, a Public post still reaches everyone in the Feed.
Like & Save
Like posts to show some love, and tap Add to Library on shared recipes to save them straight to your own collection.
Friends & Profile
Find Friends
Search members by username in Profile → Friends, send requests, and message friends directly. Your username is a unique @handle you set in your profile.
Public or Private
Set your profile to Public so anyone can follow and see your posts, or Private so only friends can. Change it anytime from Customize — private members can still make individual posts Public in the Feed.
Your Profile Page
Your profile showcases your posts and creations — and stays in sync with the Feed. Post recipes or updates, then reorder or edit them anytime.
Profile & Palate Profiles
Palate Profiles
Build and save taste profiles in Profile → Palate Profiles — mood, feel, flavors, spirits, sweetness, and dietary notes. Reuse them in Bespoke Crafting or Bar Menu Advice for instant, tailored results.
Preferences
Set favorite spirits, flavor profiles, sweetness, and dietary restrictions to personalize every AI recommendation.
Sign-in & Subscription
Register Face ID, a fingerprint, or a passkey in Profile → Account for fast passwordless sign-in. View your plan and manage billing under Profile → Subscription.
Store
What is it?
Handpicked barware, glassware, bitters, and books to elevate your home bar. Open Store from the Dashboard or top menu.
How to use it
Browse by category or search the store, then tap any product to open it at the retailer. Curated picks are added regularly.
