1. Who We Are

Bespoke Mixology is a personal AI mixology assistant that helps you craft cocktails and alcohol-free mocktails, organize recipes, manage a home bar, and connect with a community of enthusiasts. This policy applies to the Bespoke Mixology website and application (the “Service”).

2. Information We Collect

Account information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, username, and password. If you sign in with a passkey, Face ID, or a fingerprint, we store the credential data needed to verify you — never your biometric data itself, which stays on your device.

Profile and preferences. We store the taste preferences, palate profiles, favorite spirits, dietary restrictions, and profile details you choose to provide so we can personalize your experience. We also learn from your activity — for example, the choices you make when crafting cocktails and the preferences you express in conversations with the AI Mixologist — to build a personalized taste profile over time.

Content you create. This includes cocktails and ingredient recipes, creations, curations, shopping lists, your virtual home bar (Speakeasy) inventory, posts, messages, and comments.

Uploads. When you snap or upload photos of bottles, menus, or drinks, or attach documents such as PDFs, Word files, or spreadsheets, we process and store those files to provide the requested features.

Payment information. Subscription payments are handled by our third-party payment processor. We do not store your full card details on our servers; we retain only limited billing status needed to manage your subscription.

Usage and device data. We automatically collect information such as pages viewed, features used, approximate activity times, browser type, and device information to keep the Service secure and to improve it.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and personalize the Service, generate AI recommendations and recipes, process subscriptions, enable social features, respond to support requests, keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and improve our features. This includes learning patterns from your usage over time — such as dietary restrictions you frequently select or flavor preferences you express — so that future recommendations better reflect your tastes. We may also use aggregated, de-identified data to understand trends and enhance the product.

4. AI Processing

To generate cocktail suggestions, analyze menus and photos, and power the AI Mixologist, relevant content — such as your prompts, preferences, and uploaded images or documents — is processed by trusted AI service providers on our behalf. In addition, we periodically use AI to analyze your conversations with the AI Mixologist and distill them into a concise, private taste profile stored on your account. This learned profile is then used to personalize recommendations across all AI features. We share only what is needed to perform these tasks, and we do not sell your personal information.

5. Social and Public Features

Bespoke Mixology includes community features such as a public Feed, friend connections, direct messages, and public member profiles. Anything you post publicly — including recipes, photos, and profile details — may be visible to other members and the public. Please share only what you are comfortable making visible.

6. How We Share Information

We share information with service providers who help us operate the Service (for example, hosting, storage, payment processing, and AI providers), with other users when you use social features, and when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service. We do not sell your personal information.

7. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences (such as your chosen layout views), and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work properly without them.

8. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may delete individual content at any time. When you close your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update much of your information directly in your Profile, or contact us through the Support page to make a request. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.

11. Age Restriction

Bespoke Mixology is intended for adults aged 18 and older. The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

12. International Users

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, where data protection laws may differ. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these locations, handled in accordance with this policy.

13. Third-Party Links

The Service may link to third-party websites and retailers, including product links in the Store. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their policies before providing any information.
